Samuel Groves Mermaid Silver Anodised Sandwich Tin Loose Base Cookware

Use the Mermaid Silver anodised sandwich tin to bake golden sponges and layer beautiful crêpe cakes. The loose base helps to easily remove the finished bake, leaving a neat finish and clean edges.

Shallower than a normal cake tin, the sandwich tin helps you fit more tins in the oven – you can keep the racks closer together. Perfect when baking a multi-layer masterpiece!

Aluminium offers even heat distribution throughout the entire tin, meaning there are no hot or cool spots, producing a consistent bake, every time. This aluminium tin has undergone an anodising process which hardens the aluminium, making it tougher and resistant to rust and the effects of frequent use. This sandwich tin is a durable, long lasting piece of bakeware that can be used time and time again.

The bakeware improves with age. Unlike products coated with non-stick (PTFE), which deteriorate with use, frequent use of the Mermaid silver products will enhance their release properties. After each use, the anodised surface captures and retains a microscopic film of lubricant which builds up to form a ‘patina’.
