The Japan design blue & white chopstick rest set brings pieces of traditional Japanese art to your table.
The set features images of Mt. Fuji and Japanese flowers such as sakura (cherry blossom) and ume (plum blossom). There’s also the simplified form of a bird called a plover, or chidori. The design is based on illustrations by Ogata Korin and Ooka Shinboku, artists from Japan’s Edo period (1603-1868). Chidori are said to represent perseverance, as they overcome strong winds when they migrate.
The set comes with 4 blue & white curved chopstick rests in a black gift box.
Please note that each piece is individually made, hence minor variations in colour, pattern and texture may occur from that shown in the photo. Hand wash only.
