Pastificio Del Colle’s rainbow striped lingua brings a ray of sunshine to your plate, whatever the weather. The wide flat pasta shapes have pretty crimped edges and are coloured with natural dyes including turmeric and paprika. The pasta shape is called ‘lingua di suocera’ in full, which means ‘mother-in-law’s tongue’. Perhaps due to the sharp edges! A great gift for anyone who loves pasta.

The company uses traditional artisan methods – shaping their pasta with bronze dies, selecting the best durum wheat semolina, and allowing the pasta to dry slowly. The company was started by Vito Nettis in 1920, and is now run by his nephew who is also called Vito Nettis!
