This professional natural “rose parme” mauve food colouring is perfect for sweet and savoury foods alike. It’s water-soluble, but the powdered consistency of the colouring means that it doesn’t further dilute wet mixtures.
The natural mauve food colouring, made from plant pigments, is perfect for enhancing the colour of a velvet sponge cake. Also use it to impart a delicate, powdery blue-purple hue to blamanges, macarons, meringues or even pasta dough. The natural mauve food colour can also be mixed with a little water, and used to paint patterns onto royal icing when decorating cakes.
