Edible gold leaf flakes are the perfect way of gilding and garnishing desserts and drinks. A small pinch of these 23-carat gold flakes on top of a dark chocolate torte, chocolate truffle or even a jelly can transform it into something quite spectacular.
Alternatively, drop a tiny pinch of the edible gold flakes over cocktails to give a bellini or negroni a little extra shimmer. You could even try making your own take on goldschlager, the Swiss cinnamon schnapps. It’s easiest to move the edible gold leaf flakes with a patisserie brush.
