Chinese Tableware Tea & Spice Infusion Ball Cookware

A tea and spice infusion ball lets you infuse loose leaf tea or spices in hot water and stocks with ease. With two size options (4.5cm or 6.5cm), this nifty ball can be filled with whole spices or tea leaves before being popped into a mug of hot water or your saucepan. 

The tea and spice infusion ball opens to allow for easy filling, emptying and cleaning. It also has a chain with a hook so you can easily remove it from the hot liquid without making a mess.

The infusion ball is an easy way to make a large pot of chai tea at home. Release the clasp and fill the mesh ball with cloves, a crushed cinnamon stick and cardamom pods. Clip together and pour over hot water or gently simmer in milk. Once you’re happy, remove the ball and set aside, then sip away!

Aside from teas, an infusion ball is also useful for flavouring stocks – for instance try placing cassia bark and cinnamon in the mesh ball when making Vietnamese pho to save having to pick out the large pieces of spice before serving.
